Review

This is a lovely place to stay. Our apartment was nice, the public areas were tastefully decorated and the food was excellent value for money Venere
Roly1958, UK This was one of the best accommodations I have stayed in for the price. The staff were excellent, most helpful and courteous. The apartment had more than enough storage space with a well equipped kitchen TripAdvisor
Uri_2011, Israel Just 100 meters from 2 main lifts (The Groste and the Pradalago) you can also ski back almost to the building itself. People are nice and helpful and the place is wonderful for those who really want to come and ski or explore the area. TripAdvisor
Andrè G The buffet breakfast is immense and very good value. We used to have a generous breakfast just before heading onto the slopes, and it would fuel us for the whole afternoon. All in all a great experienceTripAdvisor
Cernobylsky, UK Another great advantage is the swimming pool with great view (especially nice in the winter with snow outside) TripAdvisor
Peter Nice swimming pool and wellness - Garage under the building for each room - Very polite staff. Booking.com
Andrè G We were welcomed with a very warm and cordial service. The Ski pass included with the accommodation is a bonus. The spa facilities and atmosphere are very well executed. TripAdvisor

Summer activities

10 things to do in summer at Madonna di Campiglio

For some people, mountains are synonymous with snow.

For others, it means sunny meadows surrounded by cows and groundhogs, marvelous natural landscapes, days spent on horseback or mountain bike, an afternoon on a challenging golf course.

If you think so, too, then Madonna di Campiglio will not disappoint you.

Climb up to the heavens

Our mountaintops are suitable both for beginners and experts.

There is nothing more thrilling for serious-minded mountain climbers.

One of the most beautiful moments is evening time, when a beautiful color coats the mountain summits with its hearty orange gloss.

Along the “iron road”

What if you are not mountain climbers yet wish to learn about the magic of the mountain peaks and their ravines?

Join an Alpine tour guide for an excursion on the Via delle Bocchette part of the Gruppo di Brenta.

This is one of the most beautiful and well-known “iron roads” of the Dolomites.

Among the cows and baby goats

Would you like to see the difference between animals seen in books and those that are real?

Bring your children to one of the teaching farms close by Madonna di Campiglio.

You will learn about our ancient mountain traditions and caress our cows as they render, before your eyes, their supplies of precious milk!

How nice it is just walking

Not many places offer you such an extraordinary variety of trekking and Nordic walking routes as do Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo.

Challenge yourselves going along one of the many panoramic courses.

Or, select one of the numerous itineraries fit for all members of the family—even babies!

Ride on horseback around the Dolomites

To ride on horseback around the Dolomites is a real cure-all.

You can inhale the perfume of the hay. You will be surrounded by woodlands and larches.

Listen to the flowing streams and see the lovely ponds. Your body and spirit will come alive!

Organize an excursion on horseback trusting in one of the riding establishments just a few kilometers from Madonna di Campiglio.

Put on your wings

Finally!  Now you can know what it means to be an eagle flying over the Val Rendena right in front of the Dolomite mountains.

All you need to do is arrange a flight in a two-seater paraglder from Doss del Sabion—at 2,100 meters high.

Fishing for Marmorata trout

The Marmorata trout is the most beautiful wild trout found in the Sarca river.

It is one of the many fish species that live naturally in the rivers and lakes of the Val Rendena.

Fix your hook, attach the bait and listen to the placid babbling of our waters during a day of mountain fishing.

Following the footprints of Sissi and Gottfried Hofer

Did you know that the Empress Sissi of Austria deeply loved these mountains?

Did you also know that the symbol of Madonna di Campiglio, the brown bear upon a rock rampion, originated here?

That it is a work of art created by the painter Gottfried Hofer? Madonna di Campiglio is truly a treasure chest.

Learn more about our traditions and spend a day with a guided tour organized by the local APT.

High-level golf

Try the luxury of playing golf at a high level. The nine-hole Golf Club Campo Carlo Magno is one of the oldest courses in Europe.

You will find it directly in front of the Residence Ambiez, offering a spectacular view of the Dolomites.

The golf course was designed by the illustrious player Henry Cotton and it remains one of the most beautiful in Italy.

Two-wheel adventures

For mountain bike experts there exists the Brenta Bike Expert.

This is a 700kms ring that twists along mule tracks, streets high in the mountains and ascents up the Dolomites of Brenta.

If you prefer less-challenging thoroughfares, you can ride along the cycle-pedestrian route that goes across the Val Rendena.
